The windows
The windows of the Church of Saint Martin, crafted from white limestone, are notable for their exceptional carving work.
Four of these windows exemplify the triple-leaf window typology, featuring three openings, with the central one being wider. The decoration is predominantly vegetal, showcasing stylized palmettes arranged in pairs, cruciform figures adorned with heart-shaped details, three-lobed leaves inscribed within triangular cells, and petals spread to create the Tree of Life.
Two of the windows also feature small columns with capitals intricately decorated with volutes (spiral or snail-shaped ornaments) and three-petal flowers.
The fifth window features two openings, each topped with slightly horseshoe-shaped arches. Its perimeter is adorned with classic double-braid motifs.
